fall mix tape

Although I've been thoroughly enjoying the last few days of sunshine, I'm glad it's October and the rain has cooled things off a bit because I LOVE fall. It's my favorite season of the year.

Certain songs always remind me of fall, no matter what time of year I hear them. This week I decided to make a Fall Mix on my Napster account for my MP3 player. I used to have an ipod and use iTunes, but I broke up with Apple about 6 months ago, and I'm not sorry. Napster lets me make as many mixes as I want, I don't have to pay for each song, and it doesn't make my computer crash. And my little pink SanDisk is a. pink (did you catch that?), b. has a handy dandy clip, c. cheap enough that I don't worry about breaking it or losing it everytime I use it.

I was partially inspired to make a mix by a recent outing with Cuft, Pain, and Brutes to see Heart, Journey, and Cheap Trick.

I say partially inspired because none of those bands are actually on the mix, I can't help it, rock says summer to me. Fall is a little moodier. Here are songs that I think are "fall-y"

Okay, Cuft. Now that we've got a new set list, let's take it from the top.
